Part-time Outreach Services Associate

Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library

The Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library is seeking a service oriented, highly organized, creative person who enjoys working with patrons of all ages to join the staff of the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library.  Duties include adult programming, facilitating an adult book discussion and staffing the Adult Services desk.  Schedule includes daytime, evening and weekend hours.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Must have a passion for reading and sharing with others.
• Skilled in event planning.  
• Proficiency in computers and the Internet. 
• The ability to work effectively and pleasantly with teens and adults. 
• Bachelor degree required.
• Public library experience preferred but not required.

Position:  Part-Time, 22 hours per week
