Interlibrary Loan Policy
§ We have no control of knowing when the book you want will get here. § We do not know how long the lending library will loan it to us or if they will loan it to us. § Rare and Genealogy books will not be loaned. § A book less then a year old will not be loaned. § We will do our best to get the book and will not charge unless the lending library charges. Until we get the request verified, we do not know the cost. Normally, if charged the amount is not over $10.00. § Do not order magazine articles until the EBSCO website or another internet site is searched first. § Only two books may be ordered at one time. § If a book is overdue, the patron will not be able to use the interlibrary loan privilege since we would also lose our privilege of ordering again. § Since renewals are normally turned down by the lending library, a patron should call seven days before requesting a renewal. Calling the day before the book is due back is too late.
